Did you know:

1. The quarters for Engine 66 Ladder 61 were built in 1974 when the units were first organized to serve the residents of Co-Op City.
2. Co-Op City is the largest cooperative residential development in the United States with a population of over 43,000 residents, occupied by 15,372 residential units, 35 high rise, and seven cluster townhouses.
3. The Site of Co-Op City today was formerly occupied from 1960-1964 by Freedomland U.S.A. This theme park was the model Walt Disney later used to create Disney World.
